Notice of Invitation for the
Consultancy Services of Road Projects
1.
The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) has
allocated sufficient budget towards the cost of Consultancy Services
of the following Road Projects.
(i)
Construction Supervision of Serdo-Afdera-Afrar Haik, Contract

(ii)
Construction Supervision of Hida-Yalo Road Project
(iii)
Detailed Engineering Design & Tender document preparation of
Robe-Gassera-Ginir Road Project.
(iv)
Construction Supervision of Degehabur-Kebridehar Road
Upgrading Project; Contract 1: Degehabur-Shekosh
(v)
Construction Supervision of Degehabur-Kebridehar Road
Upgrading Project; Contract 2: Shekosh-Kebridehar

The Ethiopian Roads Authority invites all registered local
general or road Consultants with their professional and trade
licenses and VAT registration certificate renewed for 1998 Ethiopian
Fiscal year.

Interested Consultants may obtain further information and
collect the Request for Proposal Documents form Ethiopian Roads
Authority, Engineering Service Procurement Branch, 2nd
floor, Room No. 204, Fax 251-11-551 00 82/551 48 66, Tel. 251-11-515

4.
The REP for the first three projects can be purchased as of
May 15, 2006 and for the 4th and 5th projects
on May 22, 2006 upon presentation of the documents required under
(2) above and submission of a written application to the Engineering
Service Procurement Design and Technical Support Division Manager
and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 150 for
each project made payable to the Ethiopian Roads Authority.

The proposals for each project should be prepared in one
original and four copies and must be submitted to the Director
General’s office, Ethiopian Roads Authority, P.O. Box 1770, Addis
Ababa, Ethiopian, Fax 251-11 48 66, Tel. 251—11 55 66 03 on or
before July 04, 2006 at 2:30 P.M., 3:00 P.M. respectively as
mentioned in (1).
6.
The proposals will be opened immediately after the closing
time for submission in the presence of ERA’s Contract Award
Committee (CAC) and Consultant’s representatives who wish to attend.
7.
A proposal, which is received late, will not be considered.
8.
ERA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
