1.
The National Regional State of Oromia has secured budget to
cover eligible payment under the Contract for the construction of
Civil Works for Nekemte Town
Water Supply Project located in East Wallagga zone of the Oromia
Region.
2.
Bidding is open to
all eligible bidders having a construction license of Grade GC-1
1998 E.C Renewed Relevant License, Registration Card for VAT,
Taxpayer Registration Certificate (Tax Identification Number/TIN)
and those currently registered with the Ministry of Works and Urban
Development or Ministry of Water Resources, together with Written
Application.
3.
The Oromia Water
Resources Bureau (OWRB), acting as executing agency for the project,
invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction of
Civil Works.
4.
Bidding documents
(and additional copies) may be purchased at office of Oromia Water
Resources Bureau, for a non-refundable fee of Ethiopia Birr One
Thousand (ETB 1, 000-). Interested bidders may obtain further
information at the following address.

5.
Bids shall be
valid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after bid
opening and must be accompanied by bid security of not less than 1%
of Contract price in the form of Bank Guarantee or CPO cheque and
shall be delivered to Oromia Water Resources Bureau, Bole Road, 6th
floor, Room No. 6-4, on or before 6th June 2006 at 12:00
A.M. and bids will be opened at the presence of
bidders/representatives on the same date at 2:00 P.M. at the
assembly Hall of the Bureau.
6.
The Bureau reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
