Contractors of Category BC/GC 5 & above with license valid for the
year 2006 and VAT Registered.
- The
Government of FDRE has obtained a grant from the German Financial
Cooperation (KfW) for financing the “Urban Development Fund” (UDF).
Portion of this fund has been allocated for the Adama City
Administration by the National Steering Committee, towards the
cost of construction work.
- Adama City
Administration invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for
furnishing the necessary labour material, equipment and services
for the construction of Abattoir at Adama.
- The work on
offer mainly consists of the following component of the project.

Construction of slaughter house building for Muslim and
Christian including administration building
- Site works
that include site sanitary and waste disposal system, site
electrical works and fence work.
- Nominating
and attending a sub contractor for supply and fix of Mechanical
works (equipment and tools) included in the contract as a
provisional Sum.
- The
construction of works shall be completed within 360 calendar days
from the commencement of the works.

A complete set of bidding document can be purchased against
payment of Birr 300 (Three Hundred) including VAT.
- Deadline for
the submission of bids is on 8 June 2006 at Adama City
Administration.
- Bid will be
closed on June 8 at 12:00 A.M. and opened on the same date at 2:00
P.M. at Adama City Manager’s Office.
- All bids
must be accompanied by a bid security of (amounting of 1% of bid
price) in the from of CPO or Bank Guarantee of the bid amount and
must be delivered to:
