1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Somali Regional State Water
Resource Development Bureau has allocated fund towards the cost
of the construction of Hafirdams Water Supply Project, which
will be disbursed according to the Ethiopian Fiscal year.
2. The
Somali Regional State Water Resource Development Bureau now
invites sealed bids from pre-qualified Constructors for the
Construction of Elben, Bereran, Ayinle, Gebigebo, Musdariq,
Higloey, Danot & Dhun Hafirdams Water Supply Project.
3. The
sites are allocated at the Somali Regional State in Liben Qorahey,
Warder & Fiq Zones.

5. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
bidders upon presentation of Grade 6 & above renewed relevant
license for 1998, Registration card issued from the Ministry of
Water Resources, VAT registration certificate together with written
application in the above office from the date of announcement upon
payment of a non-refundable fee f Birr 100 (One Hundred) Ethiopian
Birr only.

All tenders must be
accompanied by a security of 2% of the bid amount and must be
delivered to the address named within 25 calendar days after
publishing on The Ethiopian Herald at 12:00 A.M. according to the
Instruction to Bidders.
7. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives
who choose to attend at 2:00 P.M. on the same day at the office of
the Vice Bureau Head.
8.
The Bureau reserves
the right to reject part and/or all bids.
