Wollo Saint Woreda Administration now invites sealed bids from
eligible local contracts of category RC 6 or GC 6 and above with
license valid for the current year and registered for VAT for
providing the necessary /Skilled/ labor, materials and Equipment for
the construction of Gedamay Reinforced Girder Bridges with Masonry
Abutment and 16 meters single span respectively.
1. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the
bidding document of the office of Saint Woreda finance & plan
office, Saint Ajibar.

2. A
complete set of bid document may be purchased by any interested
eligible bidder on the written application to the above address and
payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 300 (Three Hundred Birr only).
3. Duplicate
copies of bid offer with separate Technical Qualification and
Financial Proposal Documents in a wax-sealed envelopes, labeled as
Original and Copy shall be placed in the bid box along with a bid
security not less than 1% of the bid amount in the form of bank
guarantee or C.P.O.
4. The
bid along with the bid security must be delivered to the above
address before the 21st calendar days from the first day
of this invitation notice is issued on The Ethiopian Herald
Newspaper at 2:00 P.M.
5.
Bids will be opened in
the presence of bidders/represeatnvies who choose to attend at the
same day at 2:30 P.M. at the office addressed above. If the 21st
day is not working day, the bid will be opened on the next working
day.
6. The
construction of the works shall be completed within 180 calendar
days from commencement of work.
7. The
office reserves the right to reject any or all bids to waive
informalities to advertise for new bids or to proceeds and do the
work otherwise as may be for its best interest.
