BID-Second Call
To: all contractors of category GC/BC class 6 and above with renewed
license for the year
1. The
Trade and Industry Bureau invites wax-sealed bids from eligible
bidders for furnishing the necessary labour, material, and equipment
for the construction, reparation and of the Remaining works
project in/at Semera and to offer the complication time of
the project.
2. A
complete set of bidding documents can be purchased as of Ginbot 15,
1998 by any interested eligible bidder on the submission of a
written application to The Construction Design Share Company (CDSCo)
and upon payment of Birr 620 for each set. Additional sets of
documents can be purchased each at the same price.
3. Bidders
may obtain further information from, and inspect the bidding
documents at Construction Design Share Company (CDSCo) Studio 1,
Block 5, Addis Ababa, Tel. 440 33 62 or 442 08 00 Ext. 255.
4.
All bids must be
accompanied by a bid security, 1% of the bid amount, to a maximum of
Birr 100,000 or Birr 3,000 to 5,000 for bid amounts 40,001 up to
500,000 from recognized financial institutions payable on first
demand Addressed to the employer and must be delivered to
Construction Design Share Company (CDSCo) on or before 12:00 hrs.
Sene, 1 1998 local time.
5. Bids
will be opened in the presence of those bidders or their legal
representatives on 14:30 hours Sene 1, 1998. at the office of
CDSCo. 3rd Floor Tender Hall Room No 128.
6.
Bidders are instructed
to submit One “Original” and One “Photocopy” of the
ORIGINAL bid document with all entries and To be sealed under
separate envelope.
7.
The employer reserves
the right to reject any or all bids.
Bidders are instructed to fill, sign
and seal all the forms of the bid documents.
All bids must include value added
tax (VAT) on the summary of the bid price.
Bidders are strongly advised to
visit the site at their own expense.
