The Afar Regional
Education Bureau has received the assistance fund from Italian
cooperation towards the cost of Institutional capacity building and
support to primary educational material and intends part of the
funds to cover the supply of office equipment and educational
material.
2.
The Afar Regional
Education Bureau now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for
the supply of:

Desk top computers 14
Printers 14
Photocopier machines 3
Radio
cassette recorders 100
3. Bidders
have the option to bid for any one or more types of items.
4. Bids
will be evaluated and contract will be awarded for each item taking
in to account discount offered.
5.
A Completes set of
bidding documents can be purchased by interested bidders on the
submission of a written application, supplier registration
certificate and renewed trade license to Afar Regional State
Education Bureau, Room Number 10, Semera, upon payment of
non-refundable fee of Birr 100 (One Hundred Birr only).
6. Bids
must be delivered to Afar Education Bureau on or before 4:00 P.M. of
the 22nd day of this announcement in the region capital,
Semera and must be accompanied by security, in CPO or bank
guarantee, of not less than 1% of the bid amount.
7.
Interested eligible
bidders may obtain further information in the Regional Education
Bureau at Semera.
8.
Bids will be opened in
the presence of bidders/representatives who choose to attend at 5:00
P.M. on the same date specified in clause 6.
9.
The Afar Regional
Education Bureau reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
