Description

To all Consultants of Category V and above whose License is valid for the year 1998 E.C.

1.      The ANRS OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT AND REGIONAL ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL now invites sealed bid for provision of consultancy services for construction of Assembly Hall of Bahir Dar. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from ANRS OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT AND REGIONAL ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL, P.O. Box 321, Tel. 058 220 09 24, Fax 058 220 10 68 at Bahir Dar.

2.      Tender document may be obtained by an interested eligible bidders on the submission of written application to the ANRS OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT AND REGIONAL ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL and upon non-refundable payment of Birr 200 (Two Hundred Birr) during the official working hours upon presentation of certificate of registration on the service providers and currently renewed trade license.

3.      Wax-sealed bid documents (one original and one copy) shall be delivered for both prequalification (Technical) and priced (financial) documents separately.

4.      All bids must be delivered to the ANRS OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT AND REGIONAL ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL, P.O. Box 321, Tel. 058 220 09 24, Fax 058 220 10 68 at Bahir Dar, before June 14, 1998 E.C. at 6 local time.

5.       Prequalification (Technical) and priced (Financial) documents shall be in separate sealed envelopes and must be accompanied by a bid security in an acceptable form of 1% of the total bid amount in separate envelope.

6.      Prequalification (Technical) documents will be opened in eh presence of bidders/represeatnvies who choose to attend on June 15, 1998 E.C at 8 local time at the office of ANRS OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT AND REGIONAL ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL in Room No. 37 at Bahir Dar.

7.      Bidders could request advance payment of to 30% of the total bid price by providing advance payment guarantee but for those bidders who did not request advance payment 2% qualifying criteria will be added.

8.      The bid document shall be returned on the 20^th day of the notice issuance.

9.      Rejection Criteria: The employer will reject the bidders whose bid does not fulfill the following conditions.

1. Bidders should attach/present during bid purchasing currently renewed Trade License & renewed Registration Certificate to the technical document or present during bid purchasing.

2. Bidders should submit one original & one-copy for both Technical and financial documents separately sealed envelope.

10.  Bidders must present certificate of VAT registration.

11.  The Successful bidder shall furnish Professional indemnity insurance.

12.  The Employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
