1. The
National Scientific Equipment Center (NSEC) of the Ethiopian Science
and Technology Agency (Telephone +251 16 46303, Fax +251 116 463028)
on behalf of three participating African counties has obtained
financial support from Perez Guerrero Trust Fund for the procurement
of electronic prototyping and production equipment, software, and
materials.
2. The
NSEC, therefore, invites sealed bids from eligible bides for the
supply and delivery of electronic prototyping and production
equipment, software, and materials.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering
procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the
Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and is
open to all bidders from eligible sources.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the
bidding documents from the NSEC, Room No. 24 from 8:34 A.M. to 4:30
P.M.
5. Interested
bidders may purchased a complete set of bidding documents, in
English language, from the NSEC, Room No. 10 upon payment of
non-refundable fee of Birr 20 (Twenty Birr).
6. Bids
must be delivered to the NSEC, Director’s Office, before 4:30 P.M.
June 21, 2006. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of
Birr 3500 (Three Thousand Five Hundred Birr). Late bids shall be
rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the
bidders/represeatnvies who choose to attend at the NSEC’s Conference
Room at 10:00 A.M. June 22, 2006.
7. The
NSEC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
