Description

The Ethiopian Mineral Development Share Company (EMDSC) invites sealed bids from bidders for the purchase of 17-20 tons of Tantalum Concentrate with the Following assay result of Ta₂O₅: 45-50% Nb₂O₅: 19.58% U₃O₈: 0.70%, TiO₂: 0.31%, ThO₂: 0.037%, SnO₂: 0.08%, Sb PPM<20 which are:

1.       For contract and L/C opening purpose the total price will be calculated based on Alfred H. Knight’s Assay result and Weighting, Sampling, Stuffing and Sealing into drums by independent preshipment Inspector “Alex Stewart Tes Bretby S.A (Pty) Ltd”. That will be ready before contract signing time.

2.       Shipment will be effected only after letter of credit opening.

A complete set of bidding document may be obtained by interested bidders from the share Company’s Head Office, Commercial Department during office hours. Bidders residing outside Ethiopia can request by Fax or e-mail for the dispatch of the bid documents at the following address:

Bids is sealed envelopes may be deposited in a box prepared for this purpose at the Commercial Department, the Share Company’s Head office, or shall be sent by registered mail to the above address so as to reach not later that June 15, 2006, 10:15 A.M. Addis Ababa time.

Bids directly received by telex, fax or cable shall be rejected.

This bids received shall be opened on June 15, 2006, 10:30 A.M. Addis Ababa to be at the conference hall of the Share Company in the presence of interested bides or their duly authorized representatives.

The Share Company reserves the right to reject any or all the bid.
