Re-Bid
1. Addis
Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority (AAWSA) invites interested
eligible bidders for Drilling two piezometers at Koshie Area.
2.
A complete set of
bidding documents may be purchased against payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 50 from the above mentioned office upon
presentation of certificates from the Federal Ministry of Water
Resources, renewed license for the year & VAT registration
certificate.
3.
Interested eligible
bidders may obtain further information at the office of A.A.W.S.A.’s
Purchase Division 2nd floor, Room No. 223, P.O.
Box 1505, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Tel. 011 662 00 10/011 662 41 40,
Fax (251-11) 662 39 24.
4.
All bids must be
accompanied by a bid bond of 1% in the form of a Bank or Insurance
Guarantee, Cashier’s Payment Order (CPO) or Cash. Bid bond in any
other form shall not be acceptable.
5.
Bids shall be
submitted in one original and one copy envelope with financial
offer.
6. All
eligibility certificates cited under No.2 should be found in the
original technical envelope, and be submitted in the tender box on
the closing date.
7.
Bid Bond should be in
separate envelope and be submitted in the tender box together with
the original technical envelope.
8.
All bids must be
deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose at or before
5:00 P.M. local time on June 21, 2006.
9.
Bids will be opened in
the presence of bidders and/or their official representatives who
wish to attend, on June 22, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. local.

The Authority reserves
the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
Failure to comply any of the
conditions from (4) to (8) above will result in automatic rejection.
