1.
Addis Ababa Water and
Sewerage Authority (AAWSA) invites sealed bid from eligible bidders
to submit proposals for the design and construction supervision of
Eastern branch office (Lot- 1) and supervision of workshop building
construction (Lot-2) located in Addis Ababa.
2.
A complete set of
bidding documents shall be purchase against payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 300 upon presentation of renewed trade
license, registration certificate from Ministry of Finance and
Economic Development and VAT registration certificate.
3.
Interested eligible
bidders may obtain further information at the office of A.A.W.S.A.’s
Materials Management Department, Room No. 227, P.O. Box 1505, Addis

4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of 1% in the form of a Bank
or Insurance Guarantee, Cahier’s Payment Order (C.P.O.) or Cash. Bid
bond in any other form shall not be acceptable..
5.
Bids shall be
submitted in one original and one copy envelope with financial
offer.
6. All
eligibility certificates cited under No. 2 should be found in the
original technical envelope, and be submitted in the tender box on
the closing date.
7.
Bid Bond should be in
separate envelope and be submitted in the tender box together with
the original technical envelope.
8. All
bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose
at or before 5:00 P.M. local time on May 29, 2006.
9.
Bids will be opened in
the presence of bidders or their official representatives who wish
to attend, on May 30, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. local.
10.
The Authority reserves
the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
Failure to
comply any of the conditions from (4) to (8) above will result in
automatic rejection.
