The Ethiopian Insurance Corporation (EIC) invites all waterproofing
materials suppliers with license valid for the year 1998 Eth. Cal.
1. Ethiopian
Insurance Corporation invites all interested bidders for furnishing
the necessary labor, materials and equipment for waterproofing works
for roofs.
2.
The bid is open only
to those who have registered for Value Added Tax (VAT). Bidders are
also required to submit their certificate or registration.
3.
A complete set of
bidding documents can be purchased by interested bidders upon
payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 100 (One Hundred).
4.
All bids must be
accompanied by a bid security of Birr 4,000 (Four Thousand). The bid
security shall be in the form of a certified check or a bank
guarantee or an insurance bond.
5.
Bids shall be valid
for a period of ninety days after bid opening.
6. Bid
must be delivered to the General Service Department, Ethiopian
Insurance Corporation Head Office Building, 7th Floor,
and Room No. 703, P.O. Box 2545, Tel. 51 24 00 Ext. 227, Addis
Ababa, on or before May 26, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. and will be opened on
the same date in EIC Conference Room at 2:30 P.M.
7.
Bid must be include
15% VAT on the summary of the price.
8. Bidders
have to read the Instruction to bidders vary carefully; failure to
comply with the requirement of the bidding document may result in
automatic rejection.
9. The
Ethiopian Insurance Corporation reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all bids.
