The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) has
allocated foreign Currency for the importation of Mineral
Fertilizer.
2.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Agricultural and Rural
Development (MOARD) in its Tender No. MOARD/FFPC/D/ICB/002/2006 has
invited all interested eligible importers to submit their offers for
the importation of 75,000 MT+ 15% DAP (18-46-0)
fertilizer in three lots.
3.
GIBE DIDESA FARMERS COOPERATIVES UNION now in its own invites
sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of 25,000 MT+
15% DAP (18-46-0) fertilizer in one lot.
The terms of purchase will be read
as follows:
Bulk fertilizer to be bagged at the
supplier’s cost at the port of unloading.

complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
eligible bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 300 or
equivalent in any freely convertible currency.
6. Bids
shall also be accompanied by overseas supplier’s bid security
equivalent of USD 1 per MT in the form of Bank Guarantee and must be
delivered to the above office on or before 11:00 A.M. on December 7,
2006.

will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose
to
attend
at 2:00 P.M. on December 7,

at the office of Agricultural Input Market Department of MOARD
