1. The
Ministry of Health of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia
has been receiving fund from various donors to augment public health
services in the country. Currently, major donations come from the
Global Fund (to fight against the three main killing diseases viz.
AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria), SIDA, UNICEF, USAID, WHO, UNFPA,
GAVI, GSK, CDC, Italian Government, Netherlands Government and
Ireland Government. Parts of the funds to be used within the context
of the donations.
2. Now,
the Ministry of Health would like to invites all interested Firms
who are eligible to review and prepare Financial Statements for the
regional health bureaux and other institutions that have received
part of the grants.
3. Bid
documents can be obtained from the Financial and Budget Provisional
Department of the Ministry against a non-refundable payment of Birr
50 (Fifty only) working hours starting from the first date of the
issuance of this bid in The Ethiopian Herald.
4. A
wax-sealed bid, that shall be marked Offer for the Accountancy
Service for the Global Fund and Other Aid Programs’ and contains two
separate envelopes marked “Technical Offer’ and “Financial Offer’,
shall be submitted at the following address on or before December 6,
2006 at 2:00 P.M. local time.

5.
The bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their
representatives at the Ministry of Health on December 6, 2006 at
2:30 P.M. local time.
6.
The Ministry reserves the right to accept or reject any or
all the bids.
