The Benishangul
Gumuz Regional State Rural Roads Authority invites registered
Contractors of Category GC/RC -6 or above with license valid for
the year 2006 and registered fro VAT to submit sealed bids for
providing the necessary labour, materials and equipment for the
construction of 12m span RCDG Bridge along Daleti Koncho Road.

- Each
prospective bidder proposing to bid for this project must be
eligible fulfilling the requirements of clause 3 of the particular
instruction of the project.
- A complete set
of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested eligible
bidder on the submission of a written application to the above
address and payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100 of each
set of Document after 3 days from the advertisement on The Herald
for the coming 30 days. The final submission date of the proposal
will be on 3/4/99 E.C. at 10:00 A.M. local time. A proposal, which
is received late, will be returned unopened to respective bidders.
- All bids must
be accompanied by a bid security not less than 1% of the bid
amount. The bid security shall be payable on demand to the
Authority and must be a Certified Payment Order (CPO) at the
bidders option. The bid along with the bid security must be
delivered to the Authority Human Resources & Finance Division Head
Office, P.O. Box 126, Assosa before bid closing date.
- Bids will be
opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose
attend at 10:30 A.M. on 3/4/99 E.C. at the Head Office of the
Benishangul Gumuz Regional State Rural Roads Authority. The
construction of the work shall be complete within 150 calendar
days from commencement of works.
- The
Benishangul Gumuz Regional State Rural Road Authority reserves the
right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities to
advertise for new bids or to proceed and do the work otherwise as
may be for its best interest.
