Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Regional State Water Resources
Development Bureau now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for
the Design Review, Supply and installation of raw water pumps,
surface centrifugal pumps, diesel generating unit complete with all
accessories, tools and spares.

3. A
complete set of bidding documents can be purchased by any interested
eligible bidder on submission of written application together with
renewed relevant license and registration card issued from the
appropriate Ministry, to the address stated below and upon payment
of non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 500 (Five Hundred Birr)
during working hours.

4. Sealed
bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 12:00 A.M.
on November 27, 2006.
5. Bidding
will be conducted through the international competitive bidding
procedures specified in the Government Procurement Guideline and are
open to all bidders.
6. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of not less than Birr 50,000
(Fifty Thousand Birr) in the form of:
a)
CPO or a bank guarantee or irrevocable letter of credit
issued by a reputable domestic bank or]
b)
Cashier’s or certified cheque.
7. Bids
shall be valid for a period of 120 days (One Hundred Twenty Days)
after the bid opening and the bid bond shall be valid for 60 (Sixty)
days beyond the validity of the bid.
8. Bidders
are advised to quote for all items in this contract. Partial or
incomplete quotation shall lead to automatic rejection.
9. Bids
will be opened on November 27, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. in SNNPR Water
Resources Development Bureau Assembly Hall, Awassa, Ethiopia, in the
presence of bidders and/or their authorized represeatnvies who may
wish to attend.
10. SNNPR
Water Resources Development Bureau reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all bids.
