Re-Invitation
1.
The Education Materials Production and Distribution
Enterprise (EMPDE) intends to procure different Machines & Forklift
though International Competitive bids with EMPDES fund
2.
Bids are invited from eligible bidders for the supply of
Different Machines & Forklifts.
3.
Detailed information will be found in the bidding document
which are obtainable during working hours from the Commercial
Department of EMPDE, Room No. 35 upon payment of a non-refundable
amount of Birr 230 (Two Hundred Thirty Only) as of April 15, 2007.
4.
Bidders requiring bidding document by first class Air Mail
should send a Crossed Bank Draft of Birr 200 or an equivalent amount
in foreign currency drawn in favor of EMPDE in addition to the price
of the document indicated in paragraph 3.
5. Bids
must be submitted, sealed and marked as Tender No. EMPDE 4/1999/ICB/2007
Machines and Forklift at the address stated in paragraph 6 below.
6. All
bid must be accompanied by a bid bond amounting 2% in the currency
of the bid in the form of a Bank Guarantee or CPO Cheque established
through any Bank in Ethiopia, Addressed to EMPDE, P.O. Box 5549,
Tel. 646 34 81/646 35 55 Ext. 230 so as to reach on or before May
29, 2007 at 9:30 A.M.
7. Technical
Proposal received on the said deadline will be publicly open in the
presence of bidders or their representatives at 10:00 A.M.
on the same date.
8. The
Education Materials Production and Distribution Enterprise (EMPDE)
reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
