All contractors of category BC/GC Class 5 and above with renewed
license and registration certificate valid for the current year.
1. The
Gullele Sub City Education Department now invites sealed bids
from eligible bidders for furnishing the necessary labor, materials
and equipment for the construction and completion of one G+4
school block at Shiromeda vicinity. (Kebele 01/02)
2. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information regarding the bid
documents at the office of Gullele Sub City Infrastructure and
Construction department, Contract Administration and Supervision
Team, Room No. 28 beginning from April 16, 2007 to May 7, 2007.
3. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested
eligible bidders upon non-refundable payment of Birr 120 (One
Hundred and Twenty Birr). Additional sets of documents may be
purchased each at the same price.
4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security, 3% of the bid amount
or above in Bank C.P.O. or Bank Guarantee and must be delivered to
Gullele Sub City Infrastructure and Construction department,
Contract Administration and Supervision Team, Room No. 28 before
12:00 A.M. local time on May 8, 2007. Bids shall be valid for
a period of 120 calendar days.
5. Bids
will be opened in the presence of those bidders, or bidders’ legal
representatives who choose to attend on the same date at 2:00 P.M.
local time at the office of Contract Administration and Supervision
Team, Room No. 28.
6. The
employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
Notes on the instruction to
bidders
To
be qualified for award of the contract, bidders should provide
evidence satisfactory to the employer of their capabilities and
adequacy of resources to carry out the works effectively. Hence,
bidders have to read carefully the bidding document and they shall
provide all information. Note that failure to respond to all
instruction of the bidding document may result to reject ion of your
bid.
Bidders are also kindly requested to visit the site before they
