To: All contractors of category GC/BC grade 1 with license valid for
the year 2007.
1.
The Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Regional
State Regional Council, AWASSA has funds within the Regional
council’s Budget to be used for the construction and completion
of State Office Building complex with 1095 calendar days.
2.
The Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Regional
State-Regional Council invites sealed bids from Contractors of
Category GC/BC Grade 1 for the construction and completion of
State Office Building complex.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures
contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal
Government of Ethiopia and is open to all Contractors of
Category GC/BC Grade 1.
4. Interested
prospective eligible bidders may obtain further information from and
inspect the bidding documents and Works and Urban Development
Bureau, Awassa from 8:30 A.M.
to 12:00 noon and from 2:00
P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday to Friday, between
April 20, 2007 and May 10, 2007.
5. Interested
prospective eligible bidders may purchase a complete set of Bidding
Documents from Works and Urban Development Bureau Awassa upon
payment, in cash, of a non-refundable fee of Birr 1,500 (One
Thousand Five Hundred) and upon presentation of their
registration certificate and valid license for the year 2007 (1999
Eth. Cal).
6. Wax-sealed
bids must be delivered by hand to the office of Regional
Council-Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Regional Sate,
Awassa at or beore-12:00
Noon on May 21, 2007.
Late bids shall be rejected.
7. All
bids must be accompanied by bid security of Birr 100,000 (One
Hundred Thousand Birr) in the form of cash, or a certified cheque,
or a certified payable order, or a bank draft, or a letter of
credit, or an unconditional bank guarantee, from a Financial
Institution approved by the National Bank of Ethiopia, in favor of
Southern Nations, Nationalities and People Regional
State-Regional Council.
8. The
Technical Submission of the bids will be opened in the presence of
the bidder/representatives who choose to attend at the office of
Regional Council-Southern Nations, Nationalities and
Peoples Regional State
Awassa at 2:00 P.M. on May 21, 2007.
9. The
Financial Offer of those bids that have passed the Evaluation of
Technical Submission will be opened in the presence of the
bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the office of the
Regional Council-Southern Nations, Nationalities and
Peoples Regional State. Awassa at
10:30 A.M. on May 30, 2007.
10. The
Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Regional-State
Regional Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids. |
