Procurement of Vehicles
1.
The Federal
Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a credit from the
International Development Association toward the cost of Information
Communication Assisted Development (ICTAD) project, and it intends
to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the
contract for the Procurement of Vehicles.
2.
The Ethiopian ICT
Development Agency, Information Communication Technology Assisted
Development (ICTAD) project now invites sealed bids from eligible
and qualified bidders for the supply of the following vehicles:
Automobile, 1300cc 1 Unit
Pickup D/cab
1 Unit
3.
Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive
Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the World bank’s guidelines:
Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all
bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the guidelines.
4.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information
from Ethiopian ICT Development agency; Information Communication
Technology Assisted Development (ICTAD) project and inspect the
bidding documents during working days and hours from 8:30 A.M. to
12:30 and from 1:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. at the address given below.
5.
Qualifications requirements and additional details are
provided in the bidding documents. A margin of preference for
eligible national contractors shall not be applied.
6.
A complete set of bidding Documents in English language may
be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written
Application to the address below and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 50.00 (Fifty Birr).
7.
Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before
2:00 P.M. May 23, 2007.
Electronic bidding will
not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in
the presence of the bidders/representatives who choose to attend in
person or non-line at the conference Hall of information and
Communication technology Assisted development (ICTAD) project:
Dembel City Center, 11th
Floor using lift No. 2 or Lift No. 3 at 2:30 P.M. May 23, 2007.
8.
All bids must be accompanied by a Bid security of 2% of the
bid amount including all incidentals or an equivalent amount in
freely convertible currency.
