Contractors of category GC/BC class 5 (Five) and above with renewed
license and registration certificate valid for the year 2007.
1.
The Ethiopian Red Cross Society Arsi Zone Branch now invites
wax sealed bids from eligible bidders for furnishing the necessary
labor, materials and equipment for the construction and completion
of G+3 mixed use building in Asela Town.
2.
A complete set of bidding document may be purchased by any
interested eligible bidder from ERCS, Oromia National regional
Branch, Tel. 251 11 440 59 83 Or 251 11 440 59 84 Addis Ababa upon
payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 800 (Eight Hundred birr only).
Additional set of documents may be purchased at the same price.
3.
Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect and
acquire the bidding documents at the above office of Engineering &
Construction service, ERCS, Tel. 251 115 50 39 06, P.O. Box 195,
Addis Ababa.
4.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security, in an
acceptable form (Cash, CPO or Bank Guarantee) of 1% prepared in the
name of ‘Ethiopian red Cross Society, Arsi Zone Branch’ and must be
submitted on or before 11:30 A.M. may 3, 2007 at the address
specified in clause 2 above.
5.
Bids will be opened and read in the presence of bidders or
their authorized representatives who choose to attend at 2:00 P.M. on the same day at the address specified in clause 2 above.
6.
The construction of the works shall be completed within a
maximum of 410 (Four Hundred ten) calendar days starting from the
commencement of the work.
7.
Bidders are required to fill all the necessary details in the
schedules.
8.
The Employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
