The Jimma University is planning to
procure IT 7 office Equipments from the TDP budget and requests
sealed bids from eligible suppliers for the supply of:
I.
IT & Office Equipments (Computers, Laptop, printers, LCD
projectors, photo copier, OH Projector, etc)
1.
Eligible bidders should have business license valid for the
current year and copy of registration certificate from the ministry
of Finance and economic development and supporting letter from
Inland Revenue authority, and VAT registration (for local bidders).
2.
Bid documents and detail information
can be obtained from Jimma University, main campus purchasing main
division office or from Ministry of Education, Jimma University
Liaison Office in Addis Ababa during office hours upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 100 (One Hundred Birr).
3.
Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond amount of Birr 20,000
(Twenty Thousand Birr) furnished by certified cheque (C.P.O) issued
by a domestic Bank in the name of the Jimma University.
4.
The delivery place is at Jimma University main campus store
and price should be quoted accordingly.
5.
In submitting the offer, the Technical and Financial
proposals shall be submitted separately in sealed envelope.
6. Bid
reply shall be put into the tender box prepared for this purpose at
the Jimma University main campus,
purchasing main division office at Jimma Town on or before May 14, 2007
at 10:00 A.M. local time. Bids received after the closing time will be automatically
rejected.
7. Bids
of Technical Proposals will be opened in the presence of interested
bidders or their representatives on the same date May 14, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. local time in the
Jimma University Senate Hall.
8.
Jimma University reserves the right to
reject all or parts of this bid.
