The Ethiopian
Sugar Development Agency (ESDA) invites all interested international
bidders for the supply of 15,000MT White Cane Sugar to be delivered
in one shipment, in the months of July 2007, with ICUMSA 100-250
plus the specifications described in the tender document.
Interested International
Bidders may participate in this tender either directly or through
their duly represented local agents.
Bidders can obtain the tender
document against payment of non-refundable Birr 500.00 from Room No.
404, Phillips Building,4th
floor, during office hours form the issuance of this tender on The
Ethiopian Herald.
The local agent is required to
present original and copy valid license renewed for the year 1999 to
present original and copy valid license renewed for the year 1999 EC
and copy of VAT registration certificate to purchase the tender
document.
The local Agent is also required to
present the power of Attorney (letter of representation) form
his/her principal bidder which must be authenticated by the Chamber
of Commerce of the respective principal bidders country to
participate in the bid opening on behalf of the principal bidder.
The closing date for the submission
of tender documents shall be 22nd May, 2007 at 10:00 A.M.
local time in Room No. 305 (3rd Floor).
The Agency will not be held
responsible for non-attendance of bidders or their legal
representatives and will further proceed opening of the bid as per
the schedule.
The ESDA reserves all rights to
accept or reject any or all bids or cancel the tender, which affects
the interest of the Agency, without giving reasons thereof.
