Description

To all contractors of category BC class 5 and above with valid license for the year 199 E.C.

1.      The Somali Region Trade, Industry, Transport, Bureau has got an approved budget toward the cost of strengthening and Improving the Trade, Industry, Transport sector, and intends to apply the whole budget to cover eligible payment under the contractor for the construction of the cost of the project for (A,B) covered by the Bureau.

A)    Construction of cottage and handicraft activities training center in Jijiga town

B)     Construction of drivers straining center in Jijiga town.

2.      Interested contractors are required to submit proof of their up to date Registration from Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Trade Bureau at the place of registration for BC 5 and above.

3.      The construction work shall be completed within 120 calendar days from the commencement of the works.

For a non-refundable fee of 200 Birr for each document.

5.      Bids shall be valid for a period of 30 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by security of 5000 Birr and shall be delivered to Somali Regional Trade, industry, Transport Bureau on the 10^th day before 12:00 A.M. from the 1^st issuance date of the bid on The Ethiopian Herald or their means.

6.      The bid security shall, at the bidders option, be in the form of cash, a certified cheque, payable order, bank draft, letter of credit, or an unconditional bank guarantee. Bid security shall be valid for 15 days beyond the validity of the bid.

7.      Bids will be opened on the same date at 2:00 P.M. in the Conference Hall of the Somali Region Trade, Industry, Transport Bureau in the presence of the bidders or their representatives.

8.      The Somali region Trade, Industry, Transport, Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
