Mekelle Municipality has allocated sufficient budget towards
the cost of Consultancy Services of Detail Engineering Design and
Tender Document Preparation of Mekelle City Asphalt Roads Project
and intends to apply a portion of this budget to eligible payment
under this contract.
2.
The Mekelle Municipality now invites proposals to provide the
following consulting services: Detail Engineering Design and Tender
Document Preparation of Mekelle City Asphalt Roads Project: More
details on the services are provided in the RFP.
3.
The bid is opened to all eligible Consultants:
Eligibility Criteria:
All interested bidder must:
a)
Be Highway, Bridget & Architects & Engineers Consultants of
Grade V & above,
b)
Trade license & Consultants service certificate valid for
1999 Ethiopian calendar.
c)
Be VAT registered

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information

The RFP may be purchased by an interested eligible bidder on
the submission of a written application to the above address and
payment of a non-refundable fee of 200.00 Birr for the document.
6.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security not less than
1% of the bid amount. The bid security shall be payable on demand to
the employer, and must be submitted from any legally registered bank
in the form of Certified Payment Order (CPO) or Unconditional
Bank/Insurance guarantee. Bid Validity required is 90 Calendar days.
7.
The bid along with the bid security must be delivered to the
Mekelle Municipality office, P.O. Box 52 Mekelle on or before
26/07/99-22/08/99 at 2:30 P.M.
8.
Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or
bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the Mekelle
Municipality office on 22/08/99 at 3:00 P.M.
