1.
South West Shoa Zone Finance and Economic Development Office
invites sealed bids from eligible bidders to all national
contractors of class GC/BC 6 and above and regularly registered with
the Ministry of Works and Urban Development and have VAT
registration and provide tax clearance paper from the concerned
authority for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment &
service for the construction of office Block (Administration & Dry
latrine).
2.
Interested and eligible bidders may obtain the bidding
document upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 100 from the
South West Shoa Zone Finance and Economic Development Office Room
No. 7 Woliso, starting from 9th April 2007.
3.
Bidders are required to fill all the necessary detailed
information in the bid document and failing to do so may be a cause
for rejection, and therefore bidders are advised to read the bidding
data property and respond accordingly.
4.
Completion date for the construction work will be 365
calendar days.
5.
All bids must be delivered to South West Shoa Zone Finance
and Economic Development Office on or before
7th May 2007,
at 12:00 A.M. local time, in a wax-sealed envelope and endorsed in
to the box prepared for the purpose of this bid.
6.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to
1% of the total sum of bid price in the form of CPO, Bank Guarantee
or in cash.
7.
All bidders must provide original and two copies of bid
documents separately sealed with wax-should be packed in the bigger
outer covering envelope.
8.
The bids shall be opened in the presence of bides or their
representatives who need to attend at 2:00 P.M. local time on 7th
May 2007.
9.

10.
The employer reserves the right to accept or reject any or
all bids without giving any reason thereof.
