The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received
credit from IDA toward the cost of Capacity Building for
Decentralized Service Delivery Project (CBDSC), and intends to apply
part of the proceeds of the credit to payments under the contract
for the supply of items related to component 3.
2.
The Ministry of Capacity Building invites sealed bids from
eligible and qualified bidders for the supply and delivery of the
following items. Partial Offer could be accepted for

Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive
Bidding (NCB) in accordance with the open tendering procedures
contained in the Works Bank’s Guidelines Procurement under IDA
Credits, and is open to eligible bidders.
4.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information
from the Ministry of Capacity Building, Procurement & Finance
Process and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below
during working days from 9:00 to 12:00 A.M.
and from 2:00
to 5:00 P.M. (local time).
5. A
complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by
interested bidders from Ministry of Capacity Building, Procurement &
Finance Process during office hours and working days upon submission
of a written application to the address below and payment of a
non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 30 (Thirty Birr). The method of
payment will be in cash only.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00 A.M.
(local time) on May 8, 2007. All bids must be accompanied by a bid
security of Ethiopian Birr 3,000 (Three Thousand Birr0 for each lot.
Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of
the bidders/bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person
at 10:30 A.M. (local time) on May 8, 2007.
7. Ministry
of Capacity Building reserves the right to reject all or part of the
bid.
