Family Guidance Association of Ethiopia (FBAE) invites eligible bidders to participate in a building construction bid as per the following detail:

1.      All contractors of category GC/BC class 6(six) and above regularly registered with the ministry of infrastructure (WUD) and BAT office and who have RENEWED their LICENSE for the current year are invited to participate in the bid.

2.      Family Guidance Association of Ethiopia South West Branch office would like to partially construct a Superstructure Work Ground Floor for administration and clinic block and now invites wax sealed bids from eligible bidders for providing the necessary labor, material and equipment for the construction and completion and completion of the above work.

3.      A partial set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested eligible bidder on the submission of a written application to the office of FGAE south west branch office at jimma, and upon payment of non-refundable fee of birr 250 starting from the date of issue of in bitation in NEWSPAPER up to 29^th calendar days.

4.      All bids shall be valid for a period of 90 calendar days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of project cost in CASH or CPO and must be delivered with the bid document to FGAE southwestern branch office at 2:00 P.M. on 30^th calendar day.

5.      Bids will be opened and read in the presence of bidders who choose to attend on 30^th day calendar day starting from date of issue of Invitation in NEWSPAPER at 3:00 P.M. in the afternoon. If the 30^th day is non working day the bid will be opened on the next working day at the same time as mentioned above.

6.      The construction of the works shall be completed within a maximum of 180 calendar days starting from the the commencement of the work.

7.      Bidders are requested to read properly a bid document and fill carefully all the necessary details in the schedules as well as unit price in each items. Bids shall be submitted accompanied with evidential documents about past performance and experience on similar works, equipment and machineries, skilled manpower/personnel/etc. failing to do so may be cause for rejection. Any interested eligible bidder must participate in the bid by his/her own license only.

8.      Bidders may obtain further information from the FGAE southern branch office.

9.      The employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids
