1. The
Water Works Design & Supervision Enterprise has allocated fund
towards the cost of the construction of head office water supply
expansion scheme, supply of Pipes and fittings, Guard House, Fence
work and Waste Water Line Construction Works which will be disbursed
according to the Ethiopian fiscal year.
2. The
Water Works Design & Supervision enterprise invites sealed bids from
pre-qualified contractors for construction works, expansion scheme,
supply and installation of pipe and fitting under the following
Lots.
Lot – 1 Head Office Water Supply
Installation work
Lot – 2 Supply of Pipe and
fitting
Lot – 3 Civil work construction
for Guard House, Fence work and Waste water Line Construction.
3. The
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
bidders from the stated address and upon payment of a non-refundable
fee of 50 Birr.
4. The
bidder or his representative is advised to attend a pre-tender
meeting on August 28, 2007
at 10:00 A.M. to clarify
issues, obtain answers to questions on any matter and to visit the
site of the works.
5. All
bids must be accompanied by a security of 2% of the bid amount and
must be delivered to the named address before
10:00 A.M. on Sept. 6, 2007.
6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives
who choose to attend at
10:30 A.M. on Sept. 6, 2007
at the Enterprise’s conference Room.
7. The
Water Works Design and Supervision Enterprise reserves the right to
accept part or all of the bidding process.
