Consultancy Service
1. The
Ministry of Works and Urban Development invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders of consulting Architects and Engineers of Category
3 and above with renewed license and tax registration for the year
under tender. Besides, they should be registered to pay Value Added
Tax (VAT).
2. The
project consists of the following main activities based on the
prepared preliminary architectural drawings for cost efficient
housing projects of the country.
Architectural working drawings
Structural Designs and Foundation
adaptations
Electrical Designs
Sanitary Designs
Specification and Bill of Quantity
3. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
bidders on submission of a written application to the Ministry of
Works and Urban Development 1st floor Room No. 106 and
upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of
Works and Urban Development, 5th Floor Room No. 506.
5.
All bids must be accompanied by a security of 1% of the bid
amount in cash or CPO.
6. All
bids must be delivered to MoWUD, 5th Floor Room No. 501
before September 10< 2007, 5:30 P.M.
7.
The offer should be valid for 90 days from the bid date.
8. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or representatives who
choose to attend at 2:00 P.M. on September 17, 2007, MoWUD 5th
floor Room No. 502.
9. The
Ministry of Works & Urban Development reserves the right to accept
or reject all or part of the bid.
