Invitation for
Bids (IFB) Number:NCB/SRHB/Medical Equipments and Supplies/02/99
1. Somali
Regional Health bureau has received a donation fund from Italian
Embassy Technical Cooperation toward the implementation of the HSDP
III in Somali Region. It is intended that a part of this fund will
be applied to procure pharmacy and laboratory equipment and supplies
for Karamara hospital, Jijiga Health Science College and
Jijiga Health Center.
2. The
Somalia Regional Health Bureau invites sealed bids from registered
suppliers for the supply of pharmacy and laboratory equipment and
supplies.
3.
Bidding document may be purchased at Somalia Regional Health
Bureau, Pharmacy Section, Tel. (025) 775 20 22 Or 775 24 72 Or 775
28 44, Fax (025) 775 24 65 in freely convertible currency, on
working hours except Friday and Sunday.
4.
A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any
interested supplier on the submission of a written application along
with the presentation of valid license and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 200.
5. Bid
shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must
accompanied by security of not less than 2% of the bid amount or its
equivalent in CPO or Bank guarantee and shall be delivered to
Somalia Regional Health Bureau, Pharmacy Section on or before, 25th
August 2007 at 10:00 A.M.
6. This
invitation for bids in open to all eligible suppliers on the Federal
Drug Administration and control Authority registered suppliers list.
Bids will not be evaluated until this application has been
considered.
7. Bids
will be opened at the presence of bidders or their representatives
on the 25th August of 2007 at 10:30 A.M. at the bureau’s assembly hall.
8. The
Bureau reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
