1. Oromia
Health Bureau obtained a budget from the Italian Cooperation and
would like to procure Office, Medical and non-medical Equipment for
Health Institutions towards the cost of Health Sector Development
Program (HSDP). It is intended that part of the Proceeds of this
budget will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for
the procurement of Office, Medical and Non-medical equipment for
Health Institutions in local Competitive bid.
2. The
Oromia Health Bureau now invites wax-sealed bids from eligible
bidders for the supply of Office, Medical and non-medical Equipment
for health Institutions under different lots.
3. Bidders
have the Option to bid for any one or more type(s) of item(s). Bids
will be evaluated and contract(s) will be awarded for each item
taking into account discounts offered, if any, for combined items in
determining the least evaluated bid of all items which will be the
bases for award of the contract(s).
4. Bidders
should have renewed trade license for 1999 E.C., Suppliers list
registration certificate from Ministry of Finance & other supporting
letter/s concerning whether they have paid the taxations for
Government and have to bring these requirement/s while purchasing
this tender document and when submitting their offer also.
5. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the
bidding documents at the office of Procurement Service, Oromia
Health Bureau Room No. 39, P.O. Box 24341, Kirkos Kifleketema Kebele 19/34 around
Urael Church, Tel. 011 551 08 08, Ext.
228 or 011 553 01 71, fax 011 553 36 29, Finfinnee, Ethiopia.
6. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
bidders on submission of a written application to the
above-mentioned office and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of
Birr 200 (Birr Two Hundred only).
7. Bids
must be delivered to office of Human Resource Administration
Departement on or before 3:00 P.M. in the afternoon on date
05/13/2000 E.C. or September 10, 2007 and must be accompanied by a
security of not less than 2% of the bid amount in the form of CPO or
Bank Guarantee from a reputable bank.
8. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives
(Those who have a written representatives from their organization to
participate on the bid opening ceremony) who choose to attend at
3:30 P.M. in the afternoon on 05/13/2000 E.C. or September 10, 2007
at the Office of Human Resource Administration Department, Oromia
Health Bureau, Room No. 13, Finfinnee, Ethiopia.
9. The
Bureau reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids.
