REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
(CONSULTANCY SERVICES)
MINISTRY OF WATER RESOURCES
PROJECT NAME: GOLELCHA AND ERER DAM
AND IRRIGATION DEVELOPMENT DETAIL
DESIGN PROJECT
The Ministry of
Water Resources has received budget from the Government of Ethiopia
towards the cost of Erer Dam and Irrigation Development Detail
Design Project, and intends to apply part of this budget for payment
under the contract for consultancy service described below.
Detail design of Dams (50m high dam
for Golelcha and 37m high for Erer dam) and associated structures
Detail design of for irrigation system infrastructures (11,500 ha
for Golelcha and 4,000ha for Erer).
Preparation of construction drawings and tender document
Detail design of offices, laboratory, and residential quarters for
both project management offices.
A more detailed
description of the services to be provided shall be given to short
list consultant in the terms of reference following their expression
of interest.
The Ministry of
Water Resources now invites eligible consultants to express their
interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must
provide a statement of capacity and experience indicating that they
are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of
similar assignments, experience in similar conditions,
availability of appropriate skills among staffs, financial statement
of the recent three years etc.)
A short list of
five to seven firms will be compiled in accordance with the
selection criteria set by the Ministry of Water Resources.
