The Oromia
Works & Urban Development Bureau invites wax-sealed bids from
eligible bidders for furnishing the necessary labor, material,
equipment and service for the Renovation of Office Blocks
below.

1. Interested
and eligible bidders may obtain the bidding document upon payment of
non-refundable fee of Birr 150 for each set starting during
an office hour, from our construction department within 30 days
from the date of this announcement on The Ethiopian Herald news
paper.
2. All
bidders must provide tax clearance paper from the concerned
Authority and Construction License valid for the year 1999 E.C./2007
G.C. and also VAT registration certificate in its originational and
copy.
3. Bidders
are required to fill all the necessary detailed information in the
bid document.
4. The
revolution of the work shall be completed within 300
calendar days.
5. All
bids must be delivered to Oromia Works & Urban Development Bureau
before or on 31st date at
12:00 A.M. located time from this
announcement, in a
wax-sealed envelope and endorsed in to the purpose of this bid.
6. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to 1% of the
total sum of bid price in C.P.O.
7. All
bidders must provide original, copy, bid bond and supporting
documents in separate wax-sealed in one big envelope.
8. The
bids shall be opened at the Oromia Works & Urban Development
Bureau in the presence of bidders or their representatives who
choose to attend at 2:00
P.M. local time on 31st
date from this announcement.
9. Bids
shall be valid for a period of (120) day after bid opening.
10. It
is impossible for any bidder to quote bid price depending on price
quoted by another bidder.
11. The
Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids
without giving any reason there of.
