Description

The Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo) has scrap and obsolete copper and aluminum electrical cables, aluminum cans, copper sheets, steels, alkaline and other different size and type of metals. The Corporation wants to sell these materials through closed bid. These materials are found in the Corporation main store at Goffa site in Addis Ababa. The corporation invites any eligible bidders to sale these materials.

1.      The bidders can participate in the following Lots:

a)      Lot I Different type scrap electrical copper cables and scrap winding machine copper)      Lot II Scrap aluminum electrical cables

c)      Lot III Different type and size metals

d)      Lot IV Cast Iron

e)      Lot V Various type metals (Stock Items)

2.      The bidders can obtain further information and the tender document with detail list of the materials (Items) from:

3.      The bid documents shall be available from the day announcement by newspaper on working hour onwards against payment of non-refundable fee Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation for each & every Lots from the Local Purchase Division on the above stated address.

4.      Bids must be accompanied by bid security of amounting Birr 20,000 (Twenty Thousand Birr) for each lot in the form of CPO or Bank Guarantee, counter guaranteed by the Local Bankers.

5.      Before going to visit the items purchasing the bid document and having the original receipt voucher is mandatory.

6.      The bidders can offer for all or particular items.

7.      Bids will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives at EEPCo’s Mexico Club according to the following schedule:
