1. The
Ministry of Education has funds to be used for the Procurement of
Various Furniture for Chemical Engineering Department for the New
Universities.
2. The
Procurement Services Enterprise on behalf of Ministry of Education
hereby invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of
Various FURNITURE.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open International
Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures continued in the Public
Procurement Proclamation of the Government of the Federal Democratic
republic of Ethiopia and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Procurement
Services Enterprise on behalf of Ministry of Education
and inspect the bidding documents at the address below during office
hours from Monday to Thursday Morning 8:00 A.M..-12:00 noon and
afternoon 1:00 P.M. -5:00 P.M. and Friday
Morning 8:00 A.M.-11:30 A.M. and Afternoon 1:30 P.M.-5:00 P.M.
5. A
complete set of bidding documents in English Language may be
purchased by interested bidders at the address below upon payment of
a non-refundable fee of Birr 100 (Birr One Hundred) for each and
every Lot from the office of the Procurement Services Enterprise 1st
Floor-Room No. 2.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at or before
October 4, 2007 at 2:30 P.M.
All bids must be accompanied by
bid security amounting Birr 50,000 (Fifty Thousand) in the form of
CPO or Bank guarantee counter guaranteed by the local bankers. Late
bids shall be rejected.
7. The
bid opening date and hours shall be
October 4, 2007 at 2:30 P.M. at
Procurement Services
Enterprise Conference Hall in the presence of the
bidders/representatives who choose to attend.
8. The
Purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
