1. The
Ethiopian Airports Enterprise has planned establishing a state of
the art Local Area Network (LAN) in its head office here in Addis
Ababa.
2. EAE
hereby invites Local companies who have got good experience in the
design & installation of LAN/WAN to give their offers for the supply
of accessories, installation, testing & commissioning of the network
that will connect & services the various departments of the
organization at headquarter.
3. Bidders
should present renewed license for the Current Budget year, VAT
registration evidence & registration certificate from Ministry of
Finance & Economic Development for which they are registered on the
suppliers list to submit their proposals.
4. Interested
bidders may collect the bid documents from Ethiopian Airports
Enterprise head office Finance Departement, cashier’s office near
Gerji customs office upon payment of a non-refundable fee Birr 150
(One Hundred Fifty Birr only)
5. The
sealed envelope containing “Technical Document” & “Financial
Document” should be submitted in two separate envelopes & marked
“LOCAL AREA NETWORK” each having one original & two copies to EAE,
purchasing & Logistics Administration on or before October 18, 2007
up to 10:00 A.M. & will be opened on the same date & time. Late bids
will be rejected.
6. Bidders
should submit a bid security of Birr 10,000 (Ten Thousand Birr) in
the form of CPO or Bank guarantee along with their offer. Bid
security in other form shall not be acceptable.
7. The
bid security will be sealed in separate envelope & marked bid
security.
8. The
Technical envelopes will be opened in the presence of interested
bidders or their representatives, at the EAE head office Conference
Room.
9. Financial
proposal envelopes of bidders who pass the technical criteria shall
be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives after
evaluation of technical is completed.

11. The
Ethiopian Airports Enterprise reserves the right to reject any or
