Invitation to Bid
International Competitive Bids (ICB)
1. The
Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) invites all interested bidders by
this international competitive Bid (ICB) for the supply of
TURNKEY SOLUTION FOR CARD BASED PAYMENT SYSTEM (Bid No. 06/2007/08).
The ICB remains floating from August 25th to October
23rd, 2007.
2. The
Bid documents shall be obtained from CBE’s Materials Management
Division cited in front of Addis Ababa Abattoirs Enterprise at Gofa
Sefer Branch, on 3rd Floor Room no. 304 during office
hours (8:00-12:00 AM, 1:00-4:00 PM) against payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 1,000.00 (One Thousand Birr only).
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information at the office of
Materials management Division, P.O. Box 255, Addis Ababa,
Ethiopia, Tel. +251 – 11 466 97 35/+251-11-467 09 90 Ext. 259,257,
Fax+251-11-466 97 39.
4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security amounting Birr 100,000.00
(One Hundred Thousand Birr Only) or equivalent in the form of Bank
Guarantee or Cashiers Payment Order (C.P.O) and should be in a
separate envelope and be submitted in the tender box together with
the original technical envelope. Bid bond in any other form shall
not be acceptable.
5. All
bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose
at CBE’ Materials Management Division cited in front of Addis Ababa
Abattoirs Enterprise at Gofa Sefer Branch, on 3rd Floor
Room No. 304 during office hours before
October 23rd 2007 at 9:30
AM local time.
6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders and/or their
representatives who whish to attend, on October 23rd 2007
at 10:00 AM local time
7. Failure
to comply any of the conditions (4) and (5) above shall result in
automatic rejection.
8. Partial
bids will not be accepted.
9. The
CBE reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
