1. The
Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority invites interested eligible
bidders for the supply of Inflatable type, outboard engine driven
boat as specified in the technical specification & bill of quantity.
2. The
Bid documents shall be obtained from AASWA’S Material Management
Department, Room No. 227 against payment of a non-refundable fee of
Birr 100 per set of document during office hours upon
presentation of registration certificate from the Federal Ministry
of Finance & Economic Development, renewed trade license for the
current year & VAT registration certificate.
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information at the office of
A.A.W.S.A.’s Materials Management Department, Room No. 227, P.O.Box
1505, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Tel 011 662 00 10/ 011 662 18 02 /011
662 49 72, Fax (251-11)662 39 24.
4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of Birr 10,000 in the form of
Bank Guarantee or cashier’s Payment Order (C.P.O.) or Cash. Bid bond
in any other form shall not be acceptable.
5. Bids
shall be submitted in two separate envelopes: 1. Technical envelope
2. Financial envelope each having one original and one copy.
6. All
eligibility certificate cited in item No. 2 (Registration
certificate from the Federal Ministry of Finance and Economic
Development Certificate) should be found in the original technical
envelope, and be placed in the tender box on or before the final bid
submission date.
7. Bid
bond should be in a separate envelope and be placed in the tender
box together with the original technical envelopes.
8. All
bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose
at or before 10:00 A.M.
local time on October 17, 2007.
9. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders and/or their
representatives who wish to attend, on
October 17, 2007
at 10:30 A.M.
local time.
10. The
Addis Ababa Water & Sewerage authority (A.A.W.S.A.) reverses the
right to accept or reject any or all bids.
Failure to comply with any of the
conditions from (4) to (8) mentioned above will result in automatic
rejection.
11.
The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
