1. The
Benishangul Gumuz Regional State Rural Roads Authority invites
registered contractors of category GC/RC-6 or above with license
valid for the year 2007 and registered for VAT to submit sealed bids
for providing the necessary labour, materials and equipment for the
construction of two different size Slabs along rivers (Asege-10m,
Bilarmo-6m) as a package on Dalet Oda bildiglu RR-50 roads where the
construction of the Abutment & wing was at the right and left side
are completed.
2. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the
bidding document at the office of:

3.
A
complete set of bidding documents may
be purchased by any interested eligible bidder on the submission of
a written application to the Authority at the Head Office of
Transport Construction Design Share Company, Addis Ababa, Tel. No.
011 55 51 588 and payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100 for
each set of document.
4.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security not less than
1% of the bid amount. The bid security shall be payable on demand to
the office, and must be a certified payment order (CPO) at the
bidders option.
5.
The bid along with the bid security must be delivered to the
Benishangul
Gumuz Regional
State Rural Roads Authority.
The final submission date of the proposal will be on September 25,
2007 at 2:30 P.M. local time. A proposal, which is received late,
will be returned unopened to respective bidders.
6.
Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or bidder’s
representatives who choose to attend at 3:00 P.M. on September 25,
2007 at the Office of the Benishangul Gumuz Regional State Rural
Roads Authority.
7.
The construction of the work shall be completed within 60
calendar days from commencement of works.
8.
The Benishangul Gumuz Regional Rural Roads Authority
reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
