1. The
Berhanena Selam Printing Enterprise has funds within the
employer’s budget to be used for the procurement of Security
printing & office building remaining works at
Addis Ababa.
2. The
Berhanena Selam Printing Enterprise invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders of GC/BC Class 6 and Above.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures
contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal
Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Construction
Design Share Company and inspect the bidding documents at the
address given below at 7 (a) from 9:00 A.M. to 16:30 P.M.
Local time.
5. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased as of Nehase
2/1999 by interested eligible bidders on submission of a
WRITTEN APPLICATION, VAT REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE, MINISTRY OF
INFRASTRUCTURE REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE, TRADE & INDUSTRY
DEVELOPMENT LICENSE & SYPPORTING LETTER at the address below at
7 (b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 450 birr.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at 7 (c) or before
12:00 AM. Hrs Meskerem 7/1999. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Ethiopian Birr
40,000.00 payable at first demand.
Bids will be opened in the presence
of the bidders/representatives who will be opened in the presence of
the bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the address
below at 7 (d) at 14:30 PM.

e. The bidders shall seal the
Original, bid security and all copies of the bid in five inner
envelopes i.e. (Technical proposal, Financial Offer and Bid
security) and one outer envelope, duly marking the inner envelopes
as “ORIGINAL” and “COPIES” both for the “Technical proposal” and
“Financial Offer”. Copy documents should be photocopy of the
original bid document.
f. The employer has the right
to reject any or all bids.
Bids are instructed to fill,
sign and seal all the forms of the bid document, Failure of this
instruction may lead to bid rejection.
All bids must include Value Added Tax (VAT) on the summary of the
price.
Partial rebate, like fixed sum and rebate on some items is not
acceptable.
