RE-INVITATION FOR BID
To all
contractors with license valid for the year 2007 G.C/1999 E.C.
The Shashemene Forest
Industry Enterprise invites wax-sealed bids from eligible bidders
for furnishing the necessary labor, material, equipment and service
for the construction of projects indicated below:

1.
Interested and eligible bidders may obtain the bidding
document upon payment of non-refundable Birr 200 from the
Head office of the Enterprise located at the town of Arsi-Negele,
West Arsi Zone, and also from its sales office located at Addis
Ababa, near Kabena Shell fuel station, during an office hour,
starting from August 3, 2007.
2.
All bidders must provide tax clearance paper from the
concerned Authority and Trade license valid for the year 1999
E.C./2007 G.C and also VAT registration certificate in its
original and bid document.
3.
Bidders are required to fill all the necessary detailed
information in the bid document.
4.
The construction work shall be completed within 120 calendar
days.
5.
All bids must be delivered to the Head office of Shashemene
Forest Industry enterprise from
August 3, 2007 up to September 3,
2007, 12:00 A.M. local time,
in a wax-sealed envelope and endorsed in to the box prepared for the
purpose of this bid.
6.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to
1% of the total sum of bid price in C.P.O.
7.
All bidders must provide original, copy bid bond and
supporting documents in separate wax-sealed in one big envelope.
8.
The bids shall be opened at the Head Office of the Enterprise
in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to
attend at 2:00 P.M. local time on September 3, 2007.
9.
It is impossible for any bidder to quote bid price depending
on price quoted by another bidder.
10.
The Enterprise reserves the right to accept or reject any or
all bids without giving any reason thereof.
