Description

1.      The ministry of Works and urban Development invites sealed a bids from eligible bidders for the supply and installation of twelve passenger lifts for six office buildings of three Ministries. ( Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ministry of Health, and ministry of Revenue).

2.      Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering procedures contained in the public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all locally registered passenger lift suppliers.

3.      Interested bidders may obtain further information from Construction Works Coordinating Bureau (MoWUD) and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 7 (a) from 9:00 AM-12:00 noon.

4.      A complete set of hard copy of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders at the address below at 7 (b) upon payment of non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 150 for bid document. The method of payment will in cash.

5.      Bid must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) by placing the in the tender box prepared for this purpose at or before 12:00 noon local time on September 3, 2007. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of amount stated in the bid document, ITB, clause 21.1. in the from of Bank Guarantee, C.P.O. or cash. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 7(d) at 2:00 PM. Local time on September 3, 2007.

6.      The Ministry reserved the right to reject all or part of the bid.
