Bid-Invitation for Expression of
Interest

1. The
Ministry of Federal Affairs has received funds from United Nations
Development Program (UNDP)-Decentralization Program and intends to
apply part of the proceeds of these funds towards the cost of
Capacity Gap Assessment on the Social Sector Institutions of the
Four Emerging Regions, namely Afar, Gambella, Somali and
Benishangul-Gumuz.
2. The
Ministry of Federal Affairs now invites suitably qualified bidders
to submit sealed expressions of interest for Capacity Gap Assessment
on the Social Sector Institutions of the Four Emerging Regions from
eligible bidders for the provision of the abovementioned service.
3. Expressions
of interest will be evaluated in accordance with the Public
Procurement Proclamation of the Government of the Federal Democratic
Republic of Ethiopia. Participation is open to all eligible National
Bidders.
4.
Interested eligible bidders are expected to collect a
complete set of bidding documents by paying Birr 30 from the
Ministry of Federal Affairs Finance Department, Room No. 19.
5. Expressions
of interest must be delivered to the address below at or before 30
days from the date of first publication of this invitation to bid.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Ethiopian Birr
5000 (Five Thousand Birr) in CPO or in cash only. Late bids shall be
reject. Bids will be opened in the address below at the 31st
day from the first date of publication 9:00 A.M. local time. If the
date is a holiday, the bid will be opened on the next working day.
6. The
Ministry reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
