1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a loan from the
African development Bank in Various currencies toward the cost of
education III Project and it is intended that part of the proceeds
of this will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for
procurement of Furniture Equipment for the Harari People National
Regional State education and Capacity building Bureau.
2. The
Harari People National regional State Education and Capacity
Building Bureau now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for
the supply of furniture and equipment, for Two Primary Schools which
are under New Construction.
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the
bidding documents at the office of Harari Education and Capacity
Building bureau, Planning and Programming Service Room No. 11, P.O.
Box 144, tel. 66 18 89, Fax. 251-056 62 385 Room No. 11.
4. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
bidders on the submission of a written application to the above
address and upon payments of a non-refundable fee of 100 Eth. Birr.
5. The
Provisions in the instruction to bidders and the general Condition
of Contract are the provisions of the Africa Development Bank
Standard bidding Documents Procurement of goods.
6. Bids
must be delivered to above office on or before 2:30 PM August 20,
2007 and must be accompanied by bid security of not less than 1% of
the bid amount.
7. Bidders
should present currently 2006-2007 renewed licenses and in addition
local supplies are required to present registration certificate.
8. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidder/representatives who choose
to attend at 3:00 PM August 20, 2007 at the head of the Education
and Capacity Building Bureau.
