WITH VALID LISCENSE FOR
THE YEAR 2007/8

1.      Adama University has received a budget from Federal Ministry of Education for the construction of Printing, clinic & Store blocks.

2.      The University invites wax-sealed bids from eligible bidders of GC/BC CLASS 4

3.      Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures contained in the public procurement proclamation of the F.D.R. of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders.

4.      Interested eligible bidders can buy a complete set of bidding documents from Adama University Procurement main Section office NO. 211 submitting a WRITTEN APPLICATION , VAT REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE, MINISTRY OF INFRASTRUCTURE REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE, TRADE & INDUSTRY LICENSE & SUPPORTING LETTER upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 450.00 (Four Hundred & Fifty) during working days from 8:30 A.M. to 4:45 P.M. working days from 8:30 A.M. to 4:45 P.M. working hrs.

5.      Bids must be delivered to the address above (4) for 30 (thirty) days from the first day of this announcement. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 50,000.00 birr payable at the first demand.

6.      Bids will be opened on the 31^st day of the announcement on the Ethiopian Herald at 2:30 P.M. in the presence of the bidders or their legal representatives at Adama University Conference Hall.

7.      The bidder shall sealed the original, bid security and all copies of the bid in three inner envelopes i.e. (Technical proposal, Financial offer and Bid Security) and one outer envelope, duly marking the inner envelopes as :ORIGINAL” and “COPIES” both for the “Technical proposal” and :Financial offer”

8.      Copy documents should be the photocopy of the original bid document.

9.      The University has the right to reject any or all bids.
Bidders are advised to read the instructions to bidders and fill, sign and seal all the forms of the bid document.
Failure to do this leads to automatic rejection of the bid.
All bids must be accompanied with Value Added Tax (VAT) & it should be clearly indicated on the summary of the price.
Partial rebate like fixed sum and rebate on some items is not acceptable.
It is compulsory to fill the declaration of bidders.
Failure to do so is a criterion for disqualifications.
