1. The
Government of Ethiopia has received a credit (hereinafter called
“credit”) from the International Development Association (IDA)
toward the cost of Rural Water Supply Project and intends to apply a
portion of this credit to eligible payments under this Contract.
2. The
Harari Regional Water Supply & Sewerage Service Authority now
invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of 1 (one)
Pick up Double Cab (4WD).
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the
Bidding Documents at the office of Water Supply & Sewerage
Service Authority, Water Supply and Sanitation Program, First Floor,

4. A
complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested
bidders on the submission of a written application to the address
given below a payment of a non-refundable fee of 25:00 Eth. Birr
or freely convertible currency. The method of payment will be in
cash or cheque against receipt. The bidding documents will be
collected to the address given below Room 18 at 10:00 AM on
December 26, 2007.
Electronic bidding will not be
permitted. late bids will be rejected.
5. Bids
must be delivered to the address given below Room 18 at 10:00
AM on December 26, 2007.

6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives who
choose to attend in person at 10:00 AM on
December 26, 2007
at the Water Supply & Sewerage
Service Authority, Water Supply and Sanitation Program, Room No. 14,
Harar, Ethiopia.
7. Bids
shall be valid for a period of Ninety (90) days after bid opening
and must be accompanied by bid security of not less than 2% of the
total bid price in local currency. Water supply & Sewerage Service
Authority reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
