1. Adama University invites sealed bid
from eligible national & International Bidders with license valid
for EFY 200, for the supply, and installation of Local Area Net Work
(LAN) with connection to ETC internet access by a budget from World
Bank DIF/ IDG project.
2. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering
procedures contained in public procurement proclamation of Federal
Government of Ethiopia which goes along with World Bank procurement
procedure.
3. Eligible
bidders could obtain more information and tender documents by
resenting their renewed licenses valid for budget year, Registration
certificate, TIN & VAT Registration certificate against payment of
non refundable Birr 200 at the address given below from Monday to
Thursday from 8:00- 2:00 AM. And from 1:00 to 5:00 PM and on Friday
from 8:00-11:00 AM. And from 1:00 to
5:00 PM. local time.
4. Bids
should be accompanied by a bid security of 2% or amount not greater
than 100,000.00 in the form of CPO or unconditional Bank guarantee
which must be payable on first demand by Adama University.
5. The
Bid bond will be sealed in separate envelope & marked bid bond
6. Bidders
shall submit their Bids at the below mentioned address on or before
Jan. 2/2008 at 2:00 P.M One original and two copies of both
Technical and Financial documents must be prepared and each in
separate wax-sealed envelope by labeling Technical original & copy &
applying in the same manner for financial offer too.
7. Original
technical documents will be opened in the presence of interested
bides or their authorized representatives on the same date at 2:30
PM at Adama University Conference Hall.
8. Financial
offer will be opened for responsive Technical document on call and
the unresponsive bidder’s financial offer will be delivered un
opened.
9. Adama University reserves the right to
reject any or all Bids.
