Section I, INVITATION TO BID
1. The
Oromia Mass Media Organization invites bidders for the procurement
of satellite based TV broadcasting equipments and service to its
regional sites the ability to build up a cost-effective, reliable
and performance-successful world standard network that is easily
grow and support the needed service. The bid remains floating from
December 4, 2007 to January 18,
2008.
2. The
Bidder can complete for one or all the items listed in the from
which are:
ITEM I: RECEIVE ONLY ANTENNA WITH FEED
SYSTEM
ITEM II: TRANSMITTING STATION WITH 20W SSPA
ITEM III: TV BROADCASTING STATION
ITEM IV: SATELLITE NEWS GATHERING
3. Bidders
can obtain bid documents from Oromia Mass Media Organization during
office hours against payment of non-refundable Birr 100.00
(Hundred).
4. Sealed
bids marked as “Tender for supply of satellite based TV broadcasting
equipments and service for Oromia Mass Media Organization” and
addressed to:

at Oromia Mass Media Organization before January 18, 2008 until 5:00
P.M. Bids received after the closing time will be automatically
rejected.
5. Bids
received in time and fulfilling the other formalities shall be
opened in the presence of interested bidders or their
representatives on January 18, 2008 until 5:30 PM in Finfinne/Addis
Ababa.
6. The
Organization reserves the right to reject all or parts of any bid. |
